Terms of Use
What you own, what we commit to, and what we expect from you — without pages nobody reads.
This is a translation of the Arabic original. If there is any difference or inconsistency between this translation and the Arabic text, the Arabic text prevails.
Who we are
Sihreej is a service run by Ramez Studio (Ramez Medhat Al-Maqtari, Yemen), which is responsible for processing your account data. The projects, tasks, chats and files that companies put in their workspaces are the responsibility of each company; we process them on its behalf and according to its instructions.
1 — Your account
- An account is for one person, and its email is unique across the whole system.
- Sihreej is not intended for anyone under sixteen, except through an educational institution that takes responsibility for obtaining the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that an account belonging to someone under sixteen was created outside an educational institution, we delete it.
- You are responsible for what happens through your account, so keep your password safe and don't share it. If you think someone has gotten into it, change your password — that ends all your other sessions.
- You can belong to more than one company with a single account, and your role in each is independent of the others.
2 — Your data is yours
What you write in Sihreej belongs to you. We claim no right to it, we don't sell it, we don't train models on it, and we don't use it for anything other than running the service for you.
You give us a limited license to host, store and process what you upload, only to the extent needed to run the service.
The company owner can take a copy of its data (JSON), covering projects, tasks, chats and the list of attachments; the files themselves are downloaded one by one. As an individual, you can ask for a copy of your personal data by writing to us. If you leave, the copy stays with you.
3 — What we commit to
- Keeping your company isolated from others — no company sees another's data, and this is the foundation of how we build.
- Not reading your work — all we see is company names, their plans and their counters; not their tasks, chats or files.
- We aim to take a backup every day, and connections are always encrypted.
- To notify you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of learning of it where possible, if something goes wrong that affects your data — rather than staying silent.
4 — What we expect from you
Don't use Sihreej for anything that:
- breaks the applicable law.
- uploads malicious content or harmful software, or infringes the rights of others.
- sends invitations to people who didn't ask for them, or uses our domain to send spam.
- tries to get around limits or to reach the data of a company that isn't yours, or tests the platform's security without our written permission.
Found a vulnerability? Tell us and don't publish it — we'll thank you and fix it: security@sihreej.com.
5 — Subscriptions and payment
- The provider company is the one that pays. Seats for clients and contacts are free — the people following your work don't count against you.
- The free plan keeps working with narrower limits. If your trial ends and you don't buy, you are not locked out — you can read everything and work within the limits of the free plan.
- Subscriptions don't renew automatically: a subscription ends on its date, and we remind you before it ends.
- Education plans are granted with a code we issue — they are not sold.
6 — The service as it is
Sihreej is under active development and runs on shared hosting. We do what we can to keep it running, fast and secure, but we don't guarantee that it will never go down or that it is free of defects — and nobody can guarantee that.
So keep a copy of the data that matters to you (the export button is there for that), and don't make Sihreej your only copy of anything you can't replace.
Our liability for any damage does not exceed what you paid us in the previous twelve months — which is zero if you are on the free plan. This limit does not apply to what the law does not allow to be limited, such as fraud, gross negligence, or a deliberate failure to protect your data.
7 — Suspension and deletion
- You can delete your account from Settings, and the company owner can delete the company. The deletion takes place 14 days after a request confirmed with a code sent by email, and it can be canceled before then.
- The account of the only owner of a company that has other members is not deleted until they transfer its ownership — or, if none of its members can take it over, delete the company or remove its members.
- Deleting a company deletes its engagements with its clients and the workspace it shares with them, and the clients are notified of the date so that they can download what they need. An engagement in which the company was itself the client of another company stays with that provider, under the name “Deleted company”.
- On deletion, the subscription is canceled, and the remaining paid period is not refunded.
- What you wrote in companies that remain stays with them under the name “Deleted user”.
- We may suspend an account that breaks section four — and we tell its holder why, unless a law in force prevents it.
- Deleted projects, engagements and teams move to the company's Trash, can be restored within thirty days, and are then deleted permanently. Deleted tasks, comments and files, however, disappear immediately, cannot be restored, and are deleted permanently after thirty days.
8 — Changes to these terms
We update the date above, and we notify you inside the app if the change is significant. If you keep using Sihreej after that, you accept the change — and if you don't like it, you can take your data and ask for your account to be deleted.
9 — Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Yemen, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that the law of your country of residence gives you.
